Thailand is known as a safe haven for stray cats. The Thai people typically love all animals but Elephants and Cats seem to top the list. The savvy cats have long ago figured this out and generally have the run of the city. The stray cat mafia. Here, one sleepy cat takes a quick snooze on a side street with oncoming traffic. The cat eventually did saunter out of the way of the patient driver in the oncoming car, but he only did so after being satisfied with his restful pit stop. (2023 iPhone photo, Adobe LR enhanced).
