Nobody knows who U are

Nobody Knows Who U Are explores the chaotic and often absurd nature of seeking visibility in the vast, oversaturated world of social media. Through this painting, I reflect on the irony of striving for recognition in a digital landscape where individuality often dissolves into algorithms, trends, and fleeting attention spans. The work uses sarcasm to highlight the disconnect between self-expression and validation in this performative arena. It speaks to the frustration of creating meaning in a space dominated by noise and the anxiety of shouting into a void where everyone wants to be seen, yet nobody truly looks. Through its visual language, the painting questions the relationship between identity and relevance, posing a provocative challenge to our collective obsession with "being noticed." 52 WEEKS ARTISTS DROP is an independent and pioneering proposal in digital art organized by NftCanarias where a group of important artists from the Spanish and Latin American cryptoart scene will release 52 works (one per week) during the 52 weeks of the year 2024. Our goal is to encourage collaboration between artists, support artists who are joining the cryptoart scene and build a network of collectors linked to the project.
